San Francisco Supervisors Aaron Peskin and Ahsha Safai want to split the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency back into two agencies via a ballot initiative they`d roll out in June, a new report says. The move would roll back Proposition E, a 1999 ballot initiative that created the SFMTA, merging Muni with the Department of Parking and Traffic and the Taxi Commission.
